Christopher B. Whitman is a litigation attorney with experience in matters involving water rights and natural resources, land use, premises liability, products liability and toxic torts. Mr. Whitman second-chaired a bench trial with partner Lyman D. "Ladd" Bedford to defend our client, a structural engineering firm, in a suit by a former employee claiming allegations such as failure to pay overtime and wrongful termination. The trial ended in a judgment in favor of our client, finding the employee was neither underpaid nor wrongfully terminated.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Whitman was a judicial extern with the Honorable James Ware, United States District Court, Northern District of California, during the summer of 2000.
